'd heat is on
Last Saturday night, I was out…again…Sinusulit lang po ang bakasyon…We were at Pacific Harbor for the first time, at least for me.
Earlier that night, while at work, my friend Kitty (a friend from high school) called me and said that our friend Jemar (a friend from elementary) is depressed and wanna go out…so I said “sure! masaya kwentuhan nyan pag may depressed hehehe”…So we went out, dinner, had a few drink, chika-chika, listen to i-forgot-the-name-of-the-band’s songs, then suddenly a loud siren interrupted. I said “baka may V.I.P. mag checheck-in sa Apo View kaya daming escort.” My friend disagreed and said “anong VIP, may sunog ata!” So I tilted my head just enough to see what’s goin’ on outside, while some were already standing to get a better view. And indeed! Sunog nga talaga!
Apo View Hotel was on fire!!! Literally!...It was sooo reality tv. Black smoke comin’ out of the building, then a little later, the fire got bigger and bigger. Fire trucks of different colors keep comin’. Firemen of different uniforms were running from different directions climbing here and there. Policemen were surrounding the streets. Some of the bystanders, were shouting and some, I think were cheering. Some maybe got a text message or a call from a friend and decided to witness what was goin’ on kaya biglang dumami ang tao and kotse na dumadaan. It was so channel 37! Then just minutes after, we saw the media men with their cams. Ma-aksyon talaga! Shet!
That night was so worth it!
